The beating heart of the company
The Research & Development laboratory is the key to the success of each test. The Lubritalia Spa laboratory occupies an area of over 500 square meters.
It is divided into 5 primary areas:
QC MP, SL, PF |
Test area on international standards |
Area for simulations of mechanical processing and material tests |
Fine chemistry area |
Technical assistance area |

Lubritalia invests in research
Le high performance of products derive from strong specialization of the Laboratory, stimulated by industrial processes that are becoming more and more demanding.
Research projects

The labroratorio joined the Ministry of Education to actively collaborate in research projects.
Cutting-edge tools

Furthermore, the Lubritalia laboratory invests in research and state-of-the-art instrumentation.
Product Certification

The laboratory is also responsible for ascertaining the suitability of Lubritalia products.
Reliability guarantee

Lubritalia refers to ASTM and UNICHIM methods to test their products, ensure reliability and comply with the specifications imposed by the client.
Simulations
To formulate and possibly customize a product in the best possible way, the simulation of the processing and the setting up of the environment is an excellent practice. These are elements that allow to perfect the fluid object of the formulation to the maximum. Lubritalia has equipment that allows simulations of the most diverse working or environmental situations to be reproduced in a realistic way.
Below, for example, we have, among other instruments, a salt fog chamber (ASTM B 117), a spray chamber (UNICHIM # 457), a humidostatic chamber (ASTM D 1748).

Equally important is the creation of tools designed to simulate the problems encountered in mechanical processing: such as eg. a machine that simulates the pollution of a feeding tank of a machine tool with guide oil.
For 20 years in Research & Development
The February 20 2004 Lubritalia achieved adaptation to the new quality standards UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000, obtaining an extension of its scope of application also to the activities of Research and Development (LAB), following the principle of continuous improvement that is the basis and reference. Later, then adjusted its also to the 2008 scheme QMS (current reference). To the market and all parties concerned, the certifications obtained, demonstrate the company's willingness to pursue the prevention and compliance with the rules in order to enhance the image and relations with its employees, with customers and the communities in which it operates.
